April 2013 Heretical Numerology Watch

I was thinking about the equations this month and the messages inherent.  And it reminded me of a true story.

There was a special school with beautiful trees.  They were shapely, beautiful and the best kind for climbing.  During lunch time and after school, children would often sit under their shade, eat lunch and snacks, hang from the lower branches and climb into the trees.  Sometimes little things would be hung from the branches to catch the wind and sun.

This had been a tradition for many years.  But one day a new principal came to the school and she was horrified by what she saw.  How could the teachers and parents of this school have allowed this to happen.  No wonder they needed a new principal!  The test scores might be high, but this was surely an unsafe school just waiting for disaster!   After all, a child could accidentally slip and be hurt and the school could be sued.  Even worse, what if a child pushed another child out of the tree!  The school was just lucky that it hadn’t happened yet.  What radical people this school was made up of!!!  Insane to let children run amok in such a dangerous situation.  Everyone knows you never let kids do this!  Especially at a school!  Never mind that there were always adults present.

As protests arose, parents and staff were told they were the most uncooperative and unmanageable people this principal had ever worked with.  Notes were compared with other principals in other districts, legal issues considered and judgments were made about the character of people from the school.  Memos were written, the board was notified, people were hired and the children came to school one day to find their beloved trees missing all their lower limbs, so that even an adult could no longer reach the lowest available branches.  There was no chance anyone might be tempted even to raise a child up to touch them.  And the school and its children would now be considered safe, even if against the wishes and will of the people who made up the community.

The lowest branches had always been the shadiest, and had contained so many memories.  But they were no longer there to provide shelter or joy.  The injured trees showed huge scars where their branches were now razed off.  And though many children tried (and some cried), after awhile no one wanted to have snacks or breaks there anymore.  Yes, thankfully the trees were not killed, but there were so many tears and many hurt feelings in an aftermath that would lead up to severe tension in the future, as unheard people and needs were devalued in a fell swoop.  Because someone didn’t see it the same way.

It’s a true story.  One we can learn from.  What might have been a better approach?  Decisions were made by an outsider to make the community safe according to what everyone “anywhere else” supposedly already logically and reasonably understood on pure principle.  But in the place of safety, hearts, relationships and even a few wills were broken.  People were wrongfully accused of being irresponsible and rebellious and no one would take time to observe just how safe the children truly were or weren’t.  The more parents tried to please their case, the more they were attacked.  The principal had the power of possible lawsuit on her side, and came from a perspective that didn’t even care for trees.  “It’s just a tree, why should this matter?  Why would anyone want to climb such a dangerous thing anyway?  Why is this even an issue?”  Even the fact that there were responsible adults always present, “policing their own community,” did not matter.  There was no acceptance of the idea that perhaps tree climbing and school could coexist.  And when emotions ran high, there was no sympathy either.  “What’s wrong with your people?  We didn’t completely cut the trees down.  We only took away the dangerous branches.  You can still have happy memories without the dangerous branches.”  It became a painful and emotional end with a lot of take and no give.  And it set the stage for continued upheaval in the school’s relationships from then on.

It would have been awesome if somehow the two sides came together with a new approach that preserved everything that everyone valued.

We face an energy pattern in April that will present us with much the same kind of scenarios.  Where rules, patience, harmony, balance, and new events, ideas and perspectives combine for our attention.  Where we need to consider the preservation of all values.

After the sluggish start we had to the 2013 year, April really becomes a month of full awakening for us.  Fundamental changes start making their need to exist, or actual presence, known.  Fundamental changes may also be the problem.  The western calendar year of 2013 is a 6 vibration.  A number that demands and desires harmony, balance and fairness.  6 is the Divine Mother Archetype.  Combined with April, the 4th month, we get the auspicious number of 10.  Sure, there’s a completion and beginning energy behind the number 10, but more notably is the presence of 0 – the God Power.  For all things came from No-Thing.

The tens (numbers followed by zeros) do accentuate the archetype they reduce to, such as in this case the number 1.  1 is the number of direction, the pioneer, discovery and new things as a whole.  But zero adds something extra in the tens.  The tens also hold an extra space for the presence of Guidance at all times.  Not that anyone is every abandoned – no one is.  But 10’s denote special attention from Spirit.  Some have considered it special protection and blessing.  And certainly it is.  But it is also a little more like a parent starting a child out on a new venture – like riding a bike for the first time – and always present with a ready hand for support and guidance.  Or children off to college, embarking on their new adventure into adulthood, but also always having a safe place to call home with their parents, where they can come home, reboot their laundry, and receive nurturing and advice.  Never abandoned, and definitely not alone and without resources.  But also, it’s not an energy that is always needed in this way.  Because eventually, children grow on to become parents and expert bike riders of their own, needing less and less immediate guidance and attention.  The presence of tens do not convey inexperience as souls, but they do denote the presence of new experiences.  Similarly I likewise find that those with 100 (note the double zeros) when applied to people tend to denote older souls who are new to the human experience or to the Earth experience.  Zeros show us where the plateau jumps, our gateways of transformation in our spiritual development, are.

So… back to April.  Wake up calls make themselves known here.  Our rules may not be in our best interest.  Or we are lacking discipline in areas that need it.  Harmony (real or perceived) may be challenged as it butts heads with the number of awakening.  But so will laws, institutions, foundations and patience.  April involves new ways of dealing with and approaching things – and when I say new, I mean NEW!  And not based on previous knowledge or work.  It means considering something that hasn’t been considered before.  It may also mean considering the danger of something new.  With the previous holding patterns present in the year, you can see why now things start feeling like they are speeding up and the year is finally really under way.  With the possibilities of challenging harmony and balance in this month, the answers lie not in looking at things in the same ways they always have been.  Age old arguments and ways of solving things will not provide the answers here.  Our ways of looking at and arguing about law will not help us here.  The answer is something that might seem completely radical, or just something that hasn’t considered before or in a long time.  And there’s a warning in the mix.  Our desire for balance and harmony must not result in simply conforming.  Conformity and illusions of harmony are challenged here.

March 2013 Heretical Numerology Recap

In continuation of our look at where we’ve been and where we’re going in 2013, we now turn to the energies of March 2013.  

As March came into our lives, it brought us to an accentuation of an equation that is popping up rampantly all throughout 2013.  An equation related to Trinities everywhere, but most especially the Divine Service Archetypes of the the Divine Child, Divine Mother and Divine Father.   These archetypes have always had a mathematical and energetic relationship with each other.  But this year they take center stage, emphasizing service to the greater good, from the micro to the macrocosm.  Each of these archetypes govern a corner of the Divine Triangle in Service.  But what they all have in common is the theme of Understanding – mental, emotional, and spiritual.

March also brought with it a cooler season than most of us are used to (at least in the US).  Which brings me to a little side venture in science research I’ve been following.  As in, just what’s up with our Sun?

Scientists are in the midst of speculation over space weather, solar activity, the unexpected quiet in activity from our sun and its affect on Earth.  The last 100 years has been the warmest for Earth since the mini ice-age of the 1700-1800’s.  In large part, we have recognized that during the mini ice-age our Sun was very inactive and quiet.  Coming out of that pattern cycle, we experienced a dramatic increase in solar flare activity.

And now?  Suddenly the solar cycle has quieted, seems sluggish and basically isn’t as active as previously predicted.

And…?

Well, much speculation as to what that might mean is going on. Is it a short cycle?  Is it a double peak cycle?  Or is there a possibility of a cooler period coming to  Earth again?

This isn’t entirely news this year, as it’s been discussed in solar science circles for awhile now.  But I find it interesting because I’m fascinated with patterns.  And if Pluto’s behavior reflects our own here on planet Earth, then what kind of effect does solar weather have or reflect?  Seeing as all life on this planet is possible thanks to the sun?  Metaphysically, it’s been generally regarded that large amounts of solar flare activity stimulates a fury of fiery activity here on Earth as well.  And if the Sun is moving into a less active, “cooling off” period for the next century, what does that mean?

Additionally, our sun itself has a natural 11 and 22 year solar cycle.  The 1st 11 years is essentially a waning period and the 2nd a waxing period of activity.  You can learn more about our sun’s solar cycle in NASA’s primer.  Solar cycle 25 has been said to start around 2020, a year I already find pretty interesting.  Master Numbers 11 and 22 are also interesting, as 22 took center stage during the last 100 years of the 20th century and 11 takes center stage during the first 100 years of the 21st century.

And what’s the significance of 11 at this time?  As I’ve written about for years, during the first 100 years of the new millennium, and most especially during the first 20, 30 and 50 of the first 100, it challenges us at every turn and forces societal change.  It is one of the reasons so much fear and doom has been associated with the shifting between millennia.  By the sheer numbers alone, Life and how we do, see and value things will never be the same as before.

Interesting stuff!  So on many fronts, scientific and spiritual (and what if the Sun’s cycle is changing its pattern?),  it’s something to watch and learn from.  As every generation since the beginning of time has done, we look to the heavens, we study the patterns in creation around us and we learn.

May 2011 Heretical Numerology Watch

As tornado weather and fires seems to spread, my predictions on natural events through May continue to point to an open window for sudden and explosive events.  Nothing satisfies this description quite like a tornado.  Unlike a volcano or earthquake, tornadoes do not appear to slowly develop and fester over time to a final explosion.  In truth, as I went over calculations last month and analyzed the energy window I was picking up, I was thrown back into childhood memories of surviving Terrible Tuesday.  I have always carried a sense that I and my friends should have died that day, 32 years ago.  It’s been forever since I thought about that day, and here I was consumed for awhile with the memories. I still remember what the air tasted like.

I thought about writing about this last month, but since it was so vivid and personal, I felt my visions were tied to personal emotions and wanted to keep the air clear.  A tornado does not have to be the manifestation of this energy.  Still, I have not been surprised.  And the window is still open.

May 2011 is the most crucial month of the year for focus on evaluation and change based on logic, intelligence and experience.  Not only is it a good time to evaluate your direction, but also to analyze your reasons and find your sense of adventure.  Sometimes we simply need to just do something.  If you are feeling stuck, now is the time to un-stick.  If you tend to be inflexible, now’s the time to remember to pick your battles and flow.  This vibration will not tolerate stagnation or allow you to remain in stasis.  And May is one of the months in 2011 where each day’s vibration is felt a little more intensely.

In keeping with channeling this energy in positive ways, I’d like to borrow some wise words from my peers.  As good friends recently asked me, “We hear a lot of ‘ought to’s.’ What’s actually your joy? Not what you get satisfaction from, but actual joy.” 

If you are truly living in your joy, not following your sense of of satisfaction and accomplishment, then look elsewhere to channel the energy that demands evaluation and change.  But if you are not finding yourself in joy – pure joy – then take a look at this area.  What produces an actual joyous state for you?  What allows you to maintain peace?  And what in your life, no matter how passionate you feel, takes your peace away?  What always seems to flow and what never quite seems to iron out?  It’s time to weigh some things in the balance.  This need for evaluation, and shifts and changes born from that, will make itself known at a personal level as well as on the larger community and national scales.

OK, so how do you go about that for you?

I was thinking on the words to write about this and asked for guidance while on my drive to pick up the kids from school.  I’d barely finished the request in my mind when the vehicle in front of me started behaving unpredictably.  I had to react quickly and change lanes awkwardly, as both lanes at my disposal were full.  I like to use my cruise control, as it helps me maintain proper speed, but also not chance going over a speed limit.  I braked, maneuvered, got clear and reset the control.  Then, on another road, soon after I passed that car, another car slammed on their brakes for a sudden left turn in front of me.  This time not only was there another car just ahead to my right, but a cyclist on the same shoulder as well.  Again, I had to react quickly, brake suddenly and make an awkward lane change.  I turned onto yet another road, reset my cruise control and continued down the highway.  Yet another vehicle in the lane next to me began slowing down and speeding up erratically, causing some friction in the traffic flow.  Several cars around me seemed to be trying to figure out what to do with the pattern disruption.  Suddenly a pedestrian appeared on the shoulder on my side of the road and without looking tried to cross 55 mph traffic, while the person next to me seemed to be distracted.  Again, I disengaged my cruise control, and compensated.  As the highway curved to my right under a toll bridge, yet another car suddenly cut into my lane with less than a car length to spare.  Again, I compensated, thinking people sure were lucky I was as observant and as good of a driver as I was.  I hadn’t seen that many odd traffic patterns in less than 10 minutes time… I don’t think ever.  Good grief!  What was with people today?

And that’s when the words popped into my head.  “If you’d set your cruise control for 5 miles less than usual, none of this would have occurred.  When questions lie ahead, take a slower pace than you are capable of.”

It was a revelation.  As I pondered these thoughts turning onto the last road before the school, one last car exhibited unusual traffic behavior.  I looked at my speedometer and felt the truth.  A small reduction would have adjusted more easily.  On the way back, there were no more unusual traffic events.  No strange patterns, no pedestrians or cyclists.  Just a normal pattern I was used to and 5 miles slower than I usually go. Hanging just a tic back gave me an edge for more clarity.

I think therein was the key I asked for.

APRIL 2010 NUMEROLOGY WATCH

April is around the corner.  While March 2010 heralded a time to let our hair down and have some fun, April pulls out the ruler and straightens us back into line.

Daylight Savings arrived last week and now Spring is officially here this weekend.  Along with that, Spring Break in Central Texas is winding down as students prepare to put their noses back to the grind and finish out the year.  Tax season is upon us and Summer Break is only a couple months away.  In keeping with April’s numerological theme this year, it is indeed the time for planning, research and preparation.  And in looking at that, if I could sum it all up in one phrase, the theme for April is “In The Details.”

Now I realize a lot of you are quite aware of the fact that April is the 4th month of the year.  However far more than the vibration of 4 is present with April each year.  Just as I always tell my clients that they are a musical chord, not simply one number – the same goes for dates, months and years.

For those of you already super-organized and analytical, this is a time and space of energy where your talents can really flow.  Are you good at research?  Now is your time to really shine, whether at work or school.  Flow, flow, flow! Do you simply enjoy exploring the depths of the universe and spirituality (or for that matter, perhaps any subject) down to the toes just for yourself?  It will be a great time to learn something new then.  Time to buy that book you’ve been thinking about and totally soak it in.

Now, for those of you who carry personal vibrations that desire less studiousness and more freedom…. well, this time will feel less comfortable to you than of late.  Whether you like it or not, you need to buckle down and get into the nitty-gritty of things.  You have a research project due for work or school?  Follow your gut, but don’t half-ass it.  It won’t come out as great as you like.  My recommendation for you “free-flow” types is to do the research to satisfy the structural demands of the energies during this time and let the final composition be the flow for you.  In other words – know your stuff inside and out.  You need to go to the library, buy that book, talk to an expert, whatever it is that is required to give you the head knowledge you need.  Sorry guys, there’s no faking it during this time, even though I know you have a gift for it.  But when it comes to the presentation part of it, whether in written form or in front of a group, use an outline skeletal structure and then let your gut take over.  OK?  Finals and fiscal deadlines are coming up, so I hope this helps you.

Keep in mind that Mercury will go retrograde April 18th.  Get your term papers and research done before that.  Just because Mercury goes retrograde during this time will not lessen the demands for details and knowledge in what you do during this time.  It will just simply complicate it for you.  In the same vein – get your taxes done early and know that again – the details are important.  The space of energy flowing through April and May require “following the rules.”  And this energy is extra intense on the US right now as we enter the last lap of our 22 cycle, which expects a great deal of leadership in example from us.  Do your homework, prepare properly, be honest and do it right.

A note to add to this “follow the rules” aspect includes physical emotional things as well – such as get your rest, eat properly, take care of your relationships and stick to your principals.  It also means less party and more responsibility.  This can also mean setting boundaries for yourself as to when you say yes and when you say no, or picking a deadline that makes sense instead of pushing the limit.  When we ignore this energetic combo facing us now, the consequences won’t be comfortable.

Do your homework – the key to everything during this time, including major decisions, is In The Details.

Emergency Preparedness Plans

Something I’d like to bring up, as we consider the energetic influence of this time and I have predicted some weather between now and end of May.  (We’ve discussed whether there could be a human influence to it, but I still feel this has less to do with human intention and more to do with “chance.”)  And that is your emergency preparedness plans.  Do you have a plan should something happen?  A fire, a tornado, a gas leak, a hazardous spill, etc..  If you have kids, do they know what to do, where to go, what to look for?  Have you thought about having an emergency bag in your car so that if something were to happen, you’d at least have a change of clothes and something to eat?  These are normal considerations that everyone should be prepared for, but most forget.

I will likely go into detail at a later date, but to give you a personal example for illustration….

I still remember Terrible Tuesday, the day the tornadoes came to my town when I was a child.  My mother helped train folks in disaster preparedness and the previous night at a PTA meeting, she and her director talked to our school and parents about tornadoes, what to look for, where to go, what to expect.  The biggest thing I remembered from that meeting was the director talking about hail and rain and saying, “It’s not the rain and hail you need to be afraid of.  It’s when it suddenly stops.”  The very next day, I was standing at our back door, watching the rain and hail when it suddenly stopped.  My mom hung up the phone and yelled “Kids, hit the hallway!”  She managed to flip the breaker before the first crash.

I will tell you the rest of the story in another post and as this energy comes closer to sitting upon us.  It’s actually a very cool story full of miracles.  But after it was over, there were power lines everywhere, glass in the mattresses, houses gone, my friends from across the street were completely homeless and we lived in a hotel for days before we could come back and even begin to fix our home.

Are you prepared that if something happened, you know where your important information is?  Do you have a change of clothes, necessities and toiletries for your needs?  Do you have some cash handy and a comprehensive first aid kit that has more than band-aids in it?  Do you have food and water?  And keep in mind, it might not just be for you that you plan and prepare things for, but for the life of another.

The American Red Cross has excellent materials for emergency preparedness and provide a good place to start your planning and make sure you haven’t forgotten something.  You can find a variety of scenarios and checklists in Spanish and English there, as well as other international languages.  “FlyLady’s 11 Points to Preparedness for Evacuation” is also a very excellent place to begin thinking about what you’ll need in an emergency.  Make a point of looking at these links and consider how well prepared you are.  Don’t forget financial aspects and do consider the holistic approach – body, mind and spirit – as you sit down and get into the necessary details.

Recap for End of March

Additionally, since we are right at the end of March and Spring Break, I’ve included this excerpt from last month’s watch just to recap, because I do feel it’s important:

“I want to bring up the subject of accidents. This is something for adults, as well as kids.  Numerological energies falling during late March, especially after spring break, can be sort of intoxicating or volatile in nature.  What I mean is our potential for lack of self-control and sometimes irresponsible spontaneity.  Spring brings with it a pretty good feeling this year.  A small sense of relief, after a time many folks have felt a little starved for some fun and encouragement.  Enough that it could even be intoxicating one of these days.  Daydreaming and feeling a bit unfocused or zoned out may also occur.  The tendency during such time is to indulge a little too far, go overboard and get carried away, or forget responsibilities altogether.  Kids feel like Super Man or just aren’t paying attention, do silly things and get hurt.  College finals are over and celebrations and excitement go too far or late night term papers take their toll on the road.  Adults may throw caution to the wind and spend more than they should.

Whatever it is, the point is don’t find yourself feeling so good or zoned out in the moment that you lose your sensibilities, or even sense of mortality, and end up paying for it.   Don’t think kids are immune to this.  They stress inside when adults are stressed too.  And they do pick up on your sense of relief and daydreaming as well.  If you are a teacher or have kids, this is a good time to talk to them in advance about Spring Break and learning self-control in general.  That it’s good to be excited about breaks and good times and sunny days, but not to lose their common sense either.

There is a flip side to this energy potential as well, as energies during this time seek harmony at all cost, and that is to force a sense of relief by way of explosion.  As in things have been so stressful, “I can’t stands no more!” And the temptation may be to do something extreme or irrational.

My advice?  Just don’t.”

February Theme: Change and Adaption

Thus far we’ve been working with the energies of change and adaption.  To give you a personal example, I have a car that went from working, to suddenly being moments away from a seized engine with no explanation after a routine professional oil change.  Which of course renders any car suddenly worthless.  Wasn’t in my plan to be looking for new wheels at this time, and certainly I did nothing personally to warrant or expect this could happen.  However, this is the required adaption tossed into our family’s path.

For you, perhaps it’s not as drastic.  But somewhere, somehow, flexibility and looking at possibilities from a new angle, is key.

March Theme: Family Fun, Harmony and Health

March is the time of year here in Central Texas that brings us a myriad of weather possibilities.  Sometimes, it’s our coldest month, believe it or not.  And yet, somewhere in there, spring begins.  It’s also generally the beginning of “spring weather,” sometimes also known as thunderstorms, flooding, hail and possible tornadoes.

I do believe that March and April 2010 is going to involve some turbulent weather for us.  And some insurance adjusters will be quite happily busy.  However, I believe this will be in pockets and not blanketed across the area.  Not only that, but we will see some lemonade as well.

March brings with it a mixture of extremes.  Sadness and excitement.  Devastation (think tower card or master number 55) and Opportunity.

I expect some market growth as well.  There may be those who will use this to “prove” the economy is fixed.  It’s not – just a temporary boost.  Enjoy it though, in moderation.

Family is a key point during this time and for those with kids, I highly recommend you make some time during spring break for something you can do as a family.  Don’t just send the kids to spring break camp.  It’s an opportunity to build relationships and community, so service projects do well with making use of the energies at this time.  Good time for family reunions and friendly gatherings.

And can I just say that this kind of energy is perfectly channeled through dance as well?

Health falls into this realm for the next several weeks as well.  Whether this is under the guise of “get fit,” or medical issues, take the time to see what aspects in your life need attention at this time.

I want to bring up the subject of accidents. This is something for adults, as well as kids.  Numerological energies falling during this time, especially after spring break, can be sort of intoxicating or volatile in nature.  What I mean is our potential for lack of self-control and sometimes irresponsible spontaneity.  Spring brings with it a pretty good feeling this year.  A small sense of relief, after a time many folks have felt a little starved for some fun and encouragement.  Enough that it could even be intoxicating one of these days.  Daydreaming and feeling a bit unfocused or zoned out may also occur.  The tendency during such time is to indulge a little too far, go overboard and get carried away, or forget responsibilities altogether.  Kids feel like Super Man or just aren’t paying attention, do silly things and get hurt.  College finals are over and celebrations and excitement go too far or late night term papers take their toll on the road.  Adults may throw caution to the wind and spend more than they should.

Whatever it is, the point is don’t find yourself feeling so good or zoned out in the moment that you lose your sensibilities, or even sense of mortality, and end up paying for it.   Don’t think kids are immune to this.  They stress inside when adults are stressed too.  And they do pick up on your sense of relief and daydreaming as well.  If you are a teacher or have kids, this is a good time to talk to them in advance about Spring Break and learning self-control in general.  That it’s good to be excited about breaks and good times and sunny days, but not to lose their common sense either.

There is a flip side to this energy potential as well, as energies during this time seek harmony at all cost, and that is to force a sense of relief by way of explosion.  As in things have been so stressful, “I can’t stands no more!” And the temptation may be to do something extreme or irrational.

My advice?  Just don’t.

DECEMBER/JANUARY 2009 NUMEROLOGY WATCH – YEAR END…

It’s December 2009.  Whew!  How’d ya’ll enjoy November!  Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

As we wind down the year 2009, it is a good time to make changes and set the pace for the next year to begin.   Mercury goes retrograde the day after Christmas and stays retrograde until Jan 15th.  December and January will be about balance between friends, socializing and adventure with responsibility and planning. 

December itself should feel like a bit of relief as we end the year, as spiritual lessons and challenges are reduced over all.  However one last kick back of the lessons of the master number 11 will take place before we say goodbye to 2009 forever.  I expect this will affect the US leadership as this energy compounds our president’s and vice president’s life lessons. 

Shop early and wisely this season, but include some spontaneity as well.  When those opportunities arise to let down your hair, don’t ignore them.  It’s been a tough year.  Be wise, but have some fun and salve some wounds.  Friendships play an important role both as stress release and in helping us make decisions.  There will be an important decision and evaluation to be made before the end of the year is done.  And it may just resolve itself over the holiday.  All the better if you are able to take some time off during the holiday to sort things out.   Don’t forsake the fun, it plays an important role in this process.  Yes, this month you can have your cake and eat it too, if you remember the key word – BALANCE.

As we slip into January, master number energy significantly drops off except for the master number 22, which makes it’s presence known and compounds the US’s current 22 cycle.  January begins with Mercury in retrograde, but the emphasis will turn to the new year’s energies.  Leadership and responsibility start the year off, though expect some delays in process.  Though some energies give us a break for a while, there is an arch of influence that is rather long in January – 10 days actually.  I expect to see issues involving law and government to play pivotal roles during this time.  It is also a good time to exercise your networking and family building skills.  Foundations are not just about getting organized, it’s also about beginning, renewing and building relationships and partnerships.  Do not get so stuck in the head that the heart suffers!  And if you’ve been so busy trying to survive that you’ve left off some simple courtesies when it comes to friendship and love, it’s time to take a deep breath and Live.  December’s energies give you the perfect lead in for this by giving you the social opportunities, or at least setting the energy to make it work for you should you choose to seize the moment.  Again I say, the end of this year sets the course for next year.   2010 will bring new challenges in the arenas of career, reputation, karma, service and responsibility.  Start preparing now as if the new year has already begun, if you haven’t heeded my advice yet.  It’s not too late.

I would like to note folks, that on December 21, please be careful while driving on this day.  Whether you are traveling, or just going to work, plan for extra time on the road and be prepared to be patient with others.  This is a day we all really need to be as “zen” as possible on the roads and certainly not take anything personal on the roads either.  When I see this kind of stress pattern fall like this on a Monday, much less surrounded by a bunch of other energies, I see far more car accidents in the Austin area.  It may not be like this everywhere, but I expect it will likely be on this date.  Some could argue that the energy of traveling and looking forward to seeing friends and family could shift more typical daily impatience on the road, but I’m not sure that it will.  I expect traffic on the big highways, especially metro areas, to be at a high.  There will likely be flight delays too, so just keep it in mind and plan plenty of time.  Get there safe!

NOVEMBER 2009 NUMEROLOGY WATCH…

It’s November 2009.  A month I’ve been waiting to experience.  There’s not much going on (in my book) in astrological or other circles.  This month’s significance is really all NUMBER.  The 11th month in the first 11 year in 99 years.  I’ve already written extensively about what the master number 11 means.  You can find much detail on the number 11 on my blog here. 

I know everyone is waiting for specific dates, and certainly, I have provided some.  But the truth and reality is, the entire month of November 2009 is significant.  And I expect much out of this month, manifesting both on the personal as well as national/societal levels. 

This entire year has inherently been about a time of unveiling.  A revealing of that which is hidden.  A truth that is brought out, even when you don’t recognize it at first.  Some pockets of dates stronger than others.  But this especially sets up during this month, as we also get closer to the end of this year.  It’s a new millenium.  Things are different now.  11 is setting the anchor.  What used to work just won’t work as well anymore and now there are new things and ways to learn.  And some things people didn’t realize are about to be revealed as they begin to fail.  As well as the characters of friends, family and role models become more transparent.  Sometime this month you will likely discover either a friend or an enemy, realistically or metaphorically, in plain sight of your everyday life. 

This month brings both challenge and transformation, I expect especially in the arena of law and government, but also our personal foundations and relationships.   It also presents choice and sacrifice.  And in all things, a call to do that which is right, without compromise (of the honor sort) no matter what.  It’s not about what happens, it’s about what you do with it. 

Speaking of compromise, there is a push for that as well, of the loving cooperative sort.  But it is not what most people think of.  Most people seem to think compromise means, do/see things my way.  True compromise requires all parties to give something up equally.   A meeting in the middle does not require more from another than of yourself.  And sometimes it means scrap everything and find another way.  Cooperation is key to this Compromise.  It’s a two way street.  And sometimes cooperation means trying something new altogether.

11-11-2009 is a date of great significance for obvious reasons.  With 2009 being an 11 year, that brings the vibrations to 11-11-11.  For once, the world will focus on the number pattern of this date for what it truly is, without dropping the 2 in 2009 or something else folks seem to often do when they look at numbers.  11-11-11 IS significant numerologically.  And it will have even more significance as the world focusses on it and gives it energy.  That which you give energy and focus to will manifest.  And when the world’s attention falls on something that truly is significant, whether we realize it or not, then the energy will be that much more augmented.  This entire week is ripe with potential.  11-29-2009 will also be a very powerful date, though it’s presence will be a little more subtle.

11-11-2009 carries the master number 33 in totality.  33 is the master number of Unconditional Love and Self-Sacrifice.  You can read extensively on my blog about 33 here.  Coupled with the energies of 11, a great deal of responsiblity and leadership falls during this time.  And the sacrifice?  Might not be the way you think about it.  Unconditional Love is not always soft and emotional.  It is very action oriented too.  For instance, true Love does not allow someone to hurt themselves or another.  It is not loving to enable abuse.  It is not loving to neglect.  Unconditional Love and sacrifice often means out of Love, I do that which is right for the greater good, no matter how un-popular.  Unconditional Love is expressed in the Native American way of making decisions with the lives of those who are 13 generations into the future in mind.  That it’s not just about now, or tomorrow, but 100 years from now too.  That we are careful about the doors we open, lest they not be able to be closed again.  That we slow down, as every major religious and spiritual approach in the world pleads with us to do.  To slow down, to clear our minds, to talk to God as we understand it, and listen to the small still voice within. 

The US will have more challenge before the year is done, involving boundaries, discipline, work ethic, government and law.  We are currently in a 22 cycle and all the master number energies are raining down on us now.  You can read more about 22 on my blog here.  Part of it makes it a good time to put things in order.  But part of it creates challenge to keep it simple silly.  To many details spoil this energy.  It is not suited for loads of details.  It is suited for simple and clear.  And this energy, if anything, calls for a diet.  It is the same energy that manifests de-cluttering.  It pushes us to strip out the fat, to tighten our belts and go to the gym. 

On a personal level, I highly recommend that now is the time to prepare for next year.  Look ahead now, as the challenge next year brings will likely involve reputation, business and career.  January 2010 will give you a second shot, but Mercury will be retrograde through the first half, so get started now and wrap up anything that needs completing in 2009.  Your window of opportunity is small this time.

Now is a time of testing.  As individuals.  As a nation.  It is not impossible to abuse master number energy.  Hitler was a master number person, as much as Edgar Cayce.  It will be pressed upon us, as well as our leaders, to take the higher road and not just live honorably and true, but lead as well.  The numerological path of The United States of American is 99.  The responsibility to be a Light and example to the world.  And the responsibility to be there for the rest of the world as well, no matter how lonely at times.  Our nation’s rife with master numbers, surrounding our every major step for growth and around our every challenge.  We’re experiencing number patterns that have not been experienced since our nation began at the threshold of revolution.  It is a time of transformation.

Who Do that VooDoo… Clarifying Eclipse and Numbers…

This blog takes for granted that its readers know at least a little something about numerology if they are here, reading what I tend to write about.  I don’t write about basic numerology because there are plenty of other resources where you can learn about that elsewhere.  Pretty much all books on the subject can provide you with a place to start when it comes to basic numerological thought and number meanings.  And it’s just not the focus on this blog.

Sun Spots – Solar Eclipses – Master Numbers – 11:11 – Numerology – Astrology – Astronomy – Predictions & Prophesy

I like metaphysics.  There is meaning in looking at the world and its flow from an “outside” point of view.  I like to cross-reference a variety of information and events when I write about numerology and it’s layers of influence and where patterns overlap or collide.  And in all these things, I like to be very clear about information and facts I might reference.  You know, those things based on what is known and what has been traditionally understood.  It’s just good journalism. 

Currently the internet is alive with hubabbub about the Solar Eclipse getting ready to take place in just a few hours.  However, in the midst of it all, there is also mis-information amok.  It’s no wonder sometimes that skeptics might dump us all into the same new age bucket of all that’s odd.  So to add a little balance and maybe some clarification, I present some points of reference for my discerning readers:

1.  The solar eclipse begins on July 22 Universal Time.  I generally post information about astrological events in UT because I like to get my astronomical info from NASA and that is what they do.  Using Universal Time is generally considered a standard, and perhaps too many of us take for granted that others would know this.  But this point also means that in the Western part of the world, the solar eclipse begins on July 21st – tonight. 

From a numerological standpoint – I repeat myself again – when looking at world influence when it comes to numbers, you must remind yourself that there are always two different dates in operation on this planet at any one time. 

2.  I’ve read in a few places today that this is the longest solar eclipse ever, the longest in the 21st century, the longest in our lifetimes, etc..  None of this is exactly correct.  The July 22, 2009 solar eclipse is the longest total solar eclipse to take place within the Saros Series 136 and also to occur within the 21st Century.  There are several variables involved with today’s solar event and more than one type of solar eclipse to note. 

The longest solar eclipse in the saros Series 136 altogether was actually June 20, 1955.  And the Saros Series 136 itself began First Eclipse ->  1360 Jun 14   and the Last Eclipse ->  2622 Jul 30, making a total Duration for Saros 136  =  1262.11 Years.  “Solar eclipses of Saros 136 all occur at the Moon’s descending node and the Moon moves northward with each eclipse.” 

(Additional note: the last solar eclipse back on January 26, 2009 was from from a different series called the Saros Series 131. And it happened to be the longest annular solar eclipse in the entire Saros Series 131.  Solar eclipses of Saros 131 all occur at the Moon’s ascending node and the Moon moves southward with each eclipse.) 

So the point being, yes, it’s very cool we finally get to see a long total solar eclipse in a while, but it is not quite the unique event of our lifetime some people are painting.  You can read about this and more on the Saros Series 136 on NASA’s website for yourself here: http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/SEsaros/SEsaros136.html.

3.  Numerologically, July 22nd carries the vibrations of 11 and 22.  I’ve seen references to “The 11:11” and other things on a few blogs, and even one of my readers wrote to me about it as well.  (And thanks to Sandie for giving me a push to finish writing this article sooner! :wink:)  Of the references I’ve read, I haven’t found this “11:11” presentation numerologically logical.  The skeptics out there are laughing at that statement, but they are going to laugh anyway.

This sort of number play in all honesty reminds me too much of theology class, where one professor could take a scripture and make it mean one thing and another professor could take the same scripture and make it support a completely different point of view.  It also reminds me of things like statistics class and the book by Darrell Huff, “How to Lie with Statistics.”  Simply put, it is possible to manipulate information to say what you want or to match your belief system.  I talk to people all the time who really, really want to see 11:11 or some other sign in their lives.  Sometimes they do witness significant patterns of note.  And sometimes a clock is just a clock and my shoe size has nothing to do with my social security number.

July 22, 2009 is in totality a 22 or 4 day depending on your method of reduction.  It may be during an 11 year, but it is not numeroligcally sound to create 11:11 from 7 +22 = 29/11 and then set 11 year next to that with a : in the middle, voila making it 11:11.  July is intense with plenty of numerological patterns already without having to come up with something that is not even standard tradition.  If this were acceptable “number magic,” then by logic, because numerology does demand a cord of logic through the center, somewhere between 24 and 36 dates this year will be 11:11.  Perhaps others find some value in this approach, however I do not support this view.

What I do see is the diversion away from the important message of 22.  Of and by itself, 22 on any particular day is not necessarily all that astounding.  And generally I wouldn’t even consider this particular July 22 to be all that special.   In the method of simple Pythagorean reduction, where every portion of day, month and year is reduced once before reduction, arguably one of our oldest and most simplest method of reduction, you get 22.  Because there are more advanced methods of reduction logic in our modern world now, and we tend to respect our double digits more than we did in the old world style, I look at this as a lesser influence than if I do not have to reduce at all.

So why do I have this date noted in my list of numerologically interesting dates?  Because of the recent shift of USA moving into a 22 cycle, the presence of the 11 year, and the total solar eclipse taking place on this date.  This qualifies to me as a convergence of energies that I want to take note of.  Eclipses have throughout history been symbolic of cleansing and facing challenges.  Master numbers are symbolic of facing challenges, the “hand of destiny” and holding ourselves to a higher standard. 

Spiritually speaking, seeing these events take place together, represents a very significant time to face, cleanse and overcome and denotes a more societal movement.  That sort of process also generally brings with it an unveiling of some sort, and a revealing of truth – sometimes something we didn’t want to see.  As such, I find myself taking note.

Observing the world for patterns is something I highly encourage anyone to participate in.  Even Christ said to be watchful in all things.  All of our great philosophers and scientists advocated looking at the world in a different way and using our powers of observation to glean understanding and even wisdom about this life we live.  My goal in writing is simply to share what, in my own quirky way, I observe.  But I do hope, before you go accepting my word on whatever you read here, that you’ll click on the links and go check it out yourself.  In the end, I think you’ll see where I’m coming from much clearer.

JULY 2009 NUMEROLOGY WATCH

We live in a time of new millennial energies, where incredible things that didn’t used to be possible are now attainable.  And where things that used  to be possible now aren’t.  This new energetic reality is a catalyst that opens up our world of positive achievable realities for certain.   And at this time we couple this new millennial energy with an 11 year that energetically throughout history has brought with it many “shifts of the ages,” revolutions and dynamic steps towards what our world has become today.  It is the way of any new millennium, just in terms of number – to force societal change. 

However, as many are beginning to see in their everyday lives, this new energy also opens up a range of negative opportunities as well, not just the positive and the wondrous.  In the world today, we also begin to realize a range of new accessibility where people and organizations can “get away with” something they didn’t used to be able to get away with as well.  It is easy to see this in the US, in our daily lives, with regard to finances, layoffs, how government is run, how people are treated.  But it is also important to keep in mind that this energy strikes across the globe.  Not just here in our own little world.  And how this plays out seems to suit each culture in its own way.

As always, numbers are simply Divine energetic archetypes.  It is we who make the Choice.  “Since when……?” swings both ways.

On that note, the Western world and the US heads into a time of intensity for the entire month of July.  As already previously noted, The United States of America comes under the influence of a 22 cycle on July 4, 2009 this year.  While the Western world calendar hangs at 2009 – an 11 year. 

However this is not all that is afoot during this time. 

Jupiter has just gone retrograde, making the pursuit of money and materialism even more difficult at this time.  A friend of mine shared an interesting article on the subject that points out the opportunity this occasion presents – to focus on spiritual pursuits and growth of the soul.  Titled: “Time for a Spiritual Realignment,”by Cortney Litwin, you can read more about this interesting retrograde here.

In addition to all the interesting events coming to us from around the corner, we find two penumbral lunar eclipses and one total solar eclipse taking place July 7, July 22 and August 6 – all happening within 30 days of each other!  2009 is interesting in that there are 6 solar/lunar eclipses this year.  Most years there are only four and they usually pair up one lunar and one solar within a month’s period.  In poking around the data, the last time we had this sort of lunar-solar-lunar eclipse grouping within a 30 day period was in May/June 2002.  And in 2000 we had a solar-lunar-solar eclipse pattern between July 1-31.  The other detail I noticed is that this occasional pattern of triple-eclipse play-out doesn’t usually occur as 6 eclipses within a particular year, but rather only 5, which I find interesting numerologically speaking.  I personally like to use the NASA website for eclipse dates and information.  For your further interest, you can find eclipse data here for the years 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003, 2002, 2001, 2000.

As you will note in my list of numerologically significant dates below, July 7th is on the heel of our nation’s Master Number 22 birthday cycle, while July 22 will be a total solar eclipse and coincides smack on top of a 22 Master Number day.  The Master Number 22 cycle we as a nation are just entering.

Other noticeable aspects to July – an increase in intensity, as the equations for these particular dates, this particular month, this particular year, just happen to lay out for increased vibrational compounds and master number influence. 

June 28 – July 4th is a week of significant impact.  July 15th is intense with master number energy and occurs at the half moon.  While July 22 – August 3 also creates a very intense arc of numerological influence, followed by the last penumbral lunar eclipse.  Expect this last two week period from July to August to be incredibly intense and incredibly cleansing as well. 

What does this mean?  Well, it’s most certainly a time when issues from the past can haunt elements of the present, for one.  It’s about spirituality and challenges with regard to that reality in your life.  If you think you are “awake and aware” you may be tested to see if you really are. Identities and realities will also be challenged.  What you see is not always what you get. What you believe is not always built on solid ground.

A channeled message I received recently that has repeated over and over in my sleeping dreams simply states thus:  “That which is Unity does not Judge or Divide. That which is Truth does not on Image Rely.”

In looking at that, we know that what we perceive in an image is generally unique to us.  What is in an image to one person is not the same for another.  Even in physical/medical reality, not everyone sees in color, not every sees without astigmatism, not everyone can see close or far.  Not everyone sees without eye correction of some sort and that’s not even touching on our vast differences in our powers of observation and what we notice and what we understand in all that we take in through our physical eyes.  How much more so then when we speak of matters of the conscience, heart and soul and how we perceive these?  Therefore image may a poor guide be. 

I have mentioned before that this year in general brings a revealing of truths and a betrayal of false images.  I see this aspect intensifying for us over the weeks ahead.  However, to note: The thing I find amazing in many conversations on this is that most people think they know what I’m talking about and what to expect.  That they already know where these betrayals of ideals will be revealed. 

Which means the message has been missed altogether. 

For by the very nature of these principals, we cannot know this exactly in advance.  Nor is it important to understand in advance.  For by Design it is meant to surprise and challenge us all.  Which also means by Divine Right, the revealing or even the shock will be perfectly suited to each of us differently. 

Challenges by their very nature are not about what you comfortably know.  They are about that which you are uncomfortable with, so that you may become acquainted and overcome. 

Be Still. Be at Peace. And Know God. 

Feel the Truth in these words as we find ourselves in the midst of these energies.  We dramatize the challenging of our ideas even in our literature and movies.  But we don’t always think about how it might apply to us individually. 

What would most challenge your beliefs?  What would be difficult for you to embrace?  Even the most advanced souls will face this lesson somehow, on their own.  And we face it as a society and as a human race. Here duality reigns.  Remember about 11.  11 = Unity within Paradox.  When 11 forms the 22, we find Duty, Honor, Discipline, Law, Chivalry, Honesty, Golden Truth. 

What are the bare bones essentials right now?  What are the most important elements of Life?  Expect a re-awakening!

Author’s Note:  As “The Heretical Numerologist,” I find it important to note that my life’s work and “calling” deals with Soul-Rooted Numerology (my words) and the dedicated study and interpretation of Master Numbers of all ranks, as well as double and triple digit interpretations.  I apply this information to Souls and Nations alike.  This is a relatively newer field of numerological application and research, and not something I take lightly.  All things must stand up to clarified logic.  I seek to recognize patterns that Are, not imply patterns that don’t exist.  It is also an area of numerology many numerologists have not (yet) accepted, and often argue over.  But I find that just as Pythagoras introduced the known world to the concept of 9 after it remained hidden by the Chaldeans for so long, that now it is time for humanity to learn about and embrace the higher vibrations of the cosmos of numbers, the Master Numbers and the complex vibrations of multiple digits.  Why? Because we have evolved enough as a human race and are ready for them.  Just as every planet, as it was discovered throughout our history, had to be embraced and interpreted in astrology, so now numerology is taking its leap into more complex dimensions.  I find comfort in returning to original Pythagorean related texts, the study of music, as well as many researched and older sources as possible.  All my predictions, blogs, classes and writing operate from this point of view.  What you read here is what I teach.

 

Everything in Life is a Song.  We need but to Sing its Note.

 

April is the 4th month of the year and interestingly enough, 4 is the number of structure, planning, boundaries, organization and law.  Is it any wonder then, why we tend to fill up our dearly beloved month of April with taxes, planning our summers (especially if you have kids) and spring cleaning?  Or as I like to put it – spring flinging!  This is always an excellent time of year for decluttering and clarifying our lives and setting the “behavioral boundaries, legal, office and paperwork” stage for the rest of our year.  April is an excellent month for doing a little research and getting at least a thumb note sketch idea of how we’d like to see the rest of the year go.  It is also an excellent time to implement habits, discipline and routines.

 

One quarter of our new year is already completed when we finally hit April and by the end of April, it turns into one third.  This vacillation between the psychological idea that “we’ve just barely begun the year” and, “oh my, we’re at 1/3 of the year (or tax time) already?” presents an interesting energy that we can capitalize upon as we take all the energy of organization and planning and implement it now. 

 

April is a mostly a fairly quiet month in 2009 when it comes to the more intense layers of numerological energies.  However, this is due to the lull before the storm.  Because the very end of April packs in a power punch of intense energy, one of the very few we see not only this year, but ever have in most of our lifetimes.  Why?  Because the first 11 year on the Western calendar in 99 years brings in some challenges and energies that we are not accustomed to, as well as some mathematical patterns.  In doing so, as the dates lay out in 2009, it creates an arc of influence that will last a week and culminate with the May 7th Mercury retrograde. 

 

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves.  Let’s go back and catch up first. 

 

April 7th is our first day of numerological significance.  Energy during this time brings challenges in one-on-one relationships as well as to organizations.  This is a good time to focus “group” energy towards that of the “greater good.”  Also a good time to invest in your partnerships and contacts.

 

When we come around to April 18th, we arrive upon the master number energies of 33 – Unconditional Love.  A great time to make use of this powerful positive energy.  However unconditional love is also, at it’s defining root, often about sacrifice.  And sometimes sacrifice that others do not see, do not value or cannot comprehend; sacrifice even at great cost.  It is important to note that Love is a choice, not simply a feeling, and True Love IS… simply because it MUST.  33 understands that someone must be Love even when others are not or refuse.  33 stands in the gap and fills this void, even at physical cost.  So this energy of Unconditional Love, sometimes at great sacrifice, intensifies on this day, challenging us all to raise our awareness’s and the vibration of our deeds. 

 

But there is an additional spiritual lesson wrapped up into it as well.  A challenge of law and structure comes into play.  We are in a new time, a new millennium, working with new energies.  Old structures and attitudes no longer serve and must change.  Sometimes at great sacrifice.  Take a look at the world around you and feel what is going on in the hearts of Men.  The law and structure that our world has depended upon and thought of as infallible becomes more transparent in this year.  Challenges lie in not just the recognition that things must shift, but in what we do with this knowledge.  To further illustrate, I return to the example I give in nearly every lecture and class I teach; In numerology – Numbers ALWAYS have their way.  You cannot resist or choose to ride against this Divine Energy.  It is what this physical plane is founded upon.  It is the Pattern of Law in this Universe.  When you learn about the energies at work around you, you have choices as to what to do with them.  You know there is a flood coming.  You could do nothing, and be taken away.  You could move out of the way, saving yourself, and yet there is still destruction.  Or you can harness that energy and power your entire city.  The choice to make active choices and channel the energy is your and yours alone. 

 

We know we are operating under new energies, requiring new thought and new approaches.  Yet we wait for everything to return to the way it used to be.  And I am here to tell you, simply looking at numbers – it will never ever be that way again.  Everything truly is different and whether we desire it or not, everything we think about the way we do business, how we view education, how we view health, how we view family and friends, how we view success and abundance, how we view religion and politics (another type of religion) are all undergoing a shift.  I’ve been saying this for years.  Now we’re in an 11 year where everything comes to it’s first head and a time when master number energies remain compounded.  Remember, the lesson under 11 is always spiritual in nature, not physical – even if it radiates into the physical. 

 

Our most significant punch lands on us April 29th when three layers of master number energies collide and create an arc of influence for the next week that culminate on May 6th, setting the stage for the next Mercury retrograde beginning May 7th.  Energies at play during this time involve conquering the ego in all it’s negative forms.  Which is pretty vast, because nearly all human short-comings involve the ego in some form.  Whether the ego is over-inflated or anorexic in its passive-aggressive tendencies, nearly all aspects of challenges in the physical world involve setting aside the ego in its negative forms.  Expect a blow to your perceptions during this time.  Someone may let you down.  You may let others down.  Old issues you thought were long gone pop up and knock your head and say “‘ello!”  Hidden truths are exposed, both positive and negative during this time.  Find your hidden message.  This is one of the best windows of opportunities all year to receive this.

 

This is also an incredible time to focus on higher vibrational energies, in terms of spiritual and humanitarian service to the greater Good – all things sourced from the Pure Heart.  If you choose to channel this incredible energy towards these wonderfully positive means, what you will be able to accomplish will be incredible.  Days like this are often the turning points of history that could even take years later to finally understand.  If you really desire to make a difference in this world that promotes cooperation and complementation over division, this is a good wave to ride. 

 

On the financial side of things, now is a time for conservation and planning.  This is a good time to whittle down your debt and get rid of clutter, but not to spend or invest in what you do not need.  It is important to note that clutter is a word that can be far reaching.  Debt is a form of clutter, not just too much paperwork or too much stuff.  It is time to deal with unloading the extra weight on your life right now, physically, emotionally and spiritually.  If you do not have a financial plan for the rest of the year, sit down and pencil it out now.  Clarification, not simplification, is extremely key here.  Keep it simple in a non-complicated sort of sense, but clarify, so every effort really counts.  Establish yourself a bottom line code that you plan to stick to this year and do it.  Greater challenges lie ahead when the US hits a 22 cycle this summer.  However, do not misunderstand and think that all this means you do not need a family vacation or to invest time in friends or travel to see family.  If anything, that is extremely important this year.  Pare down to the essentials and clarify.  Who, what, where, when, why?  What is it that really matters in life?  Seriously?  What is your gift and calling?  Seriously.  Who is important if all else fails?  Seriously!  Where do you wish to be?  Seriously.  And when!  Even answer that core “why” in there.  Bullet points are enough and a good start; then pursue.
