Balance is Life…

In the grand scheme of things, what will matter in 20,000 years? All I know is that we must spend our energy wisely in order to get the most out of this experience we call Life. And in doing that simple thing, on a personal level, we can actually effect positive change on a universal scale.

Things go awry when we get outside ourselves. And we miss things. Important things.

I am the center of my own universe. Nothing is more powerful than I and God in my world. If I am not attending to my center, then I am not in balance. And if I am getting caught up in the drama of others and things outside, no matter how “justified” the cause may or may not seem, then I am not where I need to be. If I cannot act cleanly, then there is muck to clear away and work through.

I learned a long time ago – I can make a great difference in this world with just about everything and anything I put my hand to. Without doubt. But if that thing takes my peace and balance away, and I cannot keep upright, then it is not where I’m supposed to be, or what I’m supposed to do.

August/September/Fall Heretical Numerology Prediction Notes…

For now, I am compiling my data for the rest of the calendar year.  This has taken a lot of time to boil down into a list for you to peruse.  But it’s together now and as deadlines draw near, I’m going to go ahead and get it out to you to look at.  I’ll elaborate more on details in a later update, but for now, let me invite you to look over each month and see the differences amongst them.

Remember what I said last month about November?  Now look at the list of data below and see how November stacks up next to all the other months.  That is the month to watch.  “Water of Life” and spirituality are words that are ringing in my ears when it comes to  November.  Something about water, blood and what they symbolize is very important during this time.  A thirst for “water” and spirituality, but not everyone will find satiation.  And I don’t believe November encapsulates it.  I believe that it brings it forefront.  I think a reference to ground water is being made here, as well as circulation – like a circulatory system.  And I would definitely draw analogies with chi and the healthy flow a human body is supposed to have, to that of the Earth.  This whole theme is both physical and symbolic in how it comes through.  The feeling I get physically though is that ground water is going to become available in areas it wasn’t previously and disappear in others it’s been rather reliable in.  Whether that changes due to earthquake or something, I’m not quite sure.  Just keep in mind there’s a rather significant spiritual parallel as well.  Phrases to reflect on:  Waters Of Life, Throne Of God, Holy Spirit, Blood Flow (as between mother and unborn child), Ascension, Divine Feminine As Creator.

Also, with all the references coming up about water, I’m going to assert something controversial about dowsing.  And I say this as an experienced dowser and as someone whose great-grandparents and other family members were once upon a time successful water-witchers in their day.   I don’t think it’s water that actually draws down our diviner rods in traditional water witching.  I think it’s something else.  

I’m also seeing a pattern this year I did not expect.  Towards the end of the year (with an intro taste to the energy felt in August), there are multiple arches of influence back to back or that overlap.  In November, we have three separate numerological energy arches that overlap each other.  Arches of influence, as I coin the phrase to describe them, are already a series of days with compounded energies contained.  But in November, December and a little one in August, we have compounded arches!

What does it all mean?  Well, things are afoot.  And when you add social circumstances (and inherent pressures) already in place, like the holidays and U.S. election, expect some fireworks.  I’ve been analyzing U.S. presidential candidates and history.  I think I can guarantee that what it reveals is rather unexpected.  Stay tuned.

May 2012 Heretical Numerology Watch

This year is already a roller-coaster of highs and lows.  Inspirations and discouragements.  Proud moments and those not so.  And it is not over yet. We are but 1/3 of the way through 2012 so far.  And when April closes, May opens on an equally intense note.

Monday April 30th and Tuesday May 1….  These dates are part of a short intense burst.  And I expect some safety issues around travel to manifest, including travel to/from work/school, your daily routines.  It would make a great 4-day weekend if you can take these two days off.  Otherwise, plan ahead and do not rely on last minute, fly by the skin of your teeth, activities to get through these days.  Prepare ahead so you can be more available to observe and help if needed.  Seriously.  When you are too busy being busy, how can you see to help others?  Or avoid the pit in front of you? And hey, speaking of travel, does everyone carry a fully stocked first-aid kit in their cars, along with an emergency bag (ie, water, change of clothes, blanket, food, cash)?  Perhaps it’s the tornadoes dancing near my brother’s house last night, but as I write this, I am reminded of childhood memories of Terrible Tuesday and having to find a hotel with just the muddy clothes on our backs after our neighborhood was destroyed.  Whether you are affected or not, someone you know might be.

The rest of May is less notable in terms of number patterns, with the exception of two other short bursts.  But that is not because it’s less active.  It’s because the entire months of May and June are slated for transitions, with some trickle following in July.  With windows as big as that, very little stands out in the deluge.

How does this work?  Well, this year as it falls, the energies of May fall along the line of Master Number 55, which I often associate with the Tower Card in tarot.  This involves two types of change: rebirth and renewal.  These are not the same energies.  This can also be read as replace and recycle.  They both involve matters of change, but different kinds.

Come June, we hit our challenge month of the year.  (There’s one every year.)  This year it’s a time to be faced with our worst enemies – ourselves.  Please remember that every thing that comes up during this vibrational window is not about others.  It is about you.  When others make decisions that just set you off, the lesson is to realize it’s not about them – there’s something for you to settle personally.  It will not come up if it’s not an issue you need to give attention to.  OK?  During this window we find that the energy of judgement itself is on trial.  Gossip and media are also on the chopping block.  Remember that facts are facts and emotions are emotions.  Both are real and both have their place.  When you notice a feeling being triggered “by someone else,” remember it is not a fact about that other person.  It is about you.  I expect this to be especially challenging with the political climate ahead.  It’ll be interesting to see who plays sides and who sticks by and listens to their brother.  We know that judgement based on race or skin color is wrong.  Likewise judgement based on any box is also wrong.

July is always interesting because it is when the US flips into a new annual vibrational cycle.  Our summer culture softens the transition, but I expect new frontiers in technology and science to be introduced during that time frame and by fall of this year, I expect scientific breakthroughs to take center stage.  We shift every summer and the eclipses will be there this year to help us.  I believe something outstanding is on the horizon.  I’m not sure how much attention it will get until later in the year though.

There will be some who attribute all these energies specifically to 2012.  This is not really because it’s 2012, though that will accentuate the matter.  This energy is here because it is here now, numerologically, at this time.

What to do?  What I always say: consciously choose how to channel this energy.

This is the forecast and being 2012, it does make for opportunities, if one will but seize them.  These are natural cycles of the Universe.  We are not victims.  We are creators and choosers.

If a wizard came to you and said, “Here, I give you this magical stone.  And with it, you can metaphorically ride any train farther and faster with less fuel,” what would you do?

Instead of expecting everything to be a wild ride and bracing yourself for it,  how about jumping on the back of that wild horse and decide where you want to go?

Bet you get there faster.

Feb 27th, watch traffic and take your time getting to work and school.

Compassion is a word that is thrown around a lot, denied of it’s true nature and largely abused. It is easy to feel softly for that which we find comfortable. But can you shed tears for someone who believes in what you despise? Can you have true compassion for something that seems alien to you? Can you have compassion for those who rub you the wrong way?  And can you have compassion for the faces you cannot see?  Because if you cannot, we are doomed.

The burden of our modern age is to find our compassion for others in spite of the internet allowing us to not think of them as human, because there’s no face to interact with. In spite of charities, corporations and governments who tell us they will handle our giving for us, so we need not worry about it ourselves. In spite of politics that tell us that we are different from our brothers and can never be united and can never “both” be “right.” Compassion and Division do not harmonize. What messages from the mob do you receive? These are questions I ask and ponderings I pitch to you as we fully enter the 2012 cycle and year of the Dragon.

March – May….  This is the window to watch right now.  Starting in March we hit several pockets of highly intensified energies.  I expect to see what many will define as chaos.  However, this is a good wave to ride for clarity, vision and opportunities.  Read that as FOCUS, get your mitt ready and look for goodies to catch too.  Be ready to multi-task like never before.  Some very significant windows will fling open during this time, but these windows are also the short-lived kind.  There will be many.  Think of it like catching fire-flies.  There will be many, and catching them may take some focus and doing (and willingness to stumble and dance) but the little lights only come out for so long. You can also think of this like a game of pictionary.  Every puzzle is a challenge and an opportunity requiring communication for the win, but time is limited.  When a challenge heads your way, you want to tackle it and resolve it quickly.  Communicate clearly and without judgment.  Don’t over analyze and don’t blame.

This chaotic Mar-May feel also plays out physically and in the weather.  I still pick up rumblings of something important happening in southern CA. I think there will be more tornadoes, like we saw last year. I think it will snow somewhere at a time and/or place we consider unusual.  And I think by end of the year there will be a domestic incident/attempt in the US, but a significant window of opportunity is going to be during this Mar-May window of multiple windows.  There’s just an awful lot of intensified energies and energies that create challenges to juggle and jump through hoops with.  Expect to be challenged!  Right now is prep time, set the stage time, remember who you are time, research and listen time. This is slow time for a reason.  Come March, be ready to be flexible and act as things start hopping.  And don’t just duck the rocks that come your way, catch them!  April will intensify what March begins.  Communication is very key during this time.  Don’t avoid it, clarify and hone it!

Also… law making and policies are getting a stomping, especially come this fall.  If we were really following the Divine flow of this energy, we’d simplify, scrap some things and revamp others.  Since it seems unlikely, expect it to consequently hurt.  When we don’t flow, unintended consequences arise.  Don’t think it has to do with conspiracy of any particular group; it’s simply a matter of reap what you sow, on the grander, more complicated energy scale.  How we do things is shifting and this is pushing us.  How soon and how pleasant all this takes place is really up to us.  What will not help this shift is name calling and division.  I call on my friends not to participate in that.  I don’t care how annoying someone is or how much hurt you feel.  It’s your job to raise people up to your level, not stoop to anything lower.  It is also your job to listen and be open to ideas you have not considered before.  Consider your spheres of influence and make positive use of your influence.  Political parties and organized news are not where the Light is.  You are.

What Is The Significance of 9-29-2009

The Greatest Mother

As we move into November, our nation’s month of Thanksgiving and Gratitude, the energies of the Divine Mother and Lady Justice become present with us.  Their images are expressed to me through memories of old paintings I remember seeing as a child at the local American Red Cross. My message is for the Enlightened. This is the way to channel this energy.  If not, negative and emotional this time can be.

Challenges arise at this time, especially around the Thanksgiving Holiday, but I stand by my notion that this may be the best time to spend with family all year.  The overriding theme at this time is a call to remain in the energy of gratitude, but also that of encouragement, mercy and forgiveness.

It is a time to count our blessings and to give up the swords of complaints and biting criticism.  It is a time to heal the wounded, encourage the old and nurture the children.  Find someone to give to.

What does the energy of The Divine Mother entail?

When you are sick, she looks after you.  When you are sad, she listens and lets you cry it out.  When you are hungry she feeds you, naked she clothes you.  And she is a graceful example to all.  She knows that you are the future.  And if anything is to change for the better, it all starts inside, right now and the difference we make even just for one other person.  Can you be a place of haven, rest or joy, for one person, even if only for a few moments?

If you have resentments, put them aside.  Save the caustic retorts.  The core of the Truth is we are siblings.  And we don’t have to be the same. Just because we do not believe the same, just because our religion or politics are different, does not mean either of us is any less deserving of compassion or our wounds salved.  It is not criminal to be different in philosophy any more than in skin color.  Stand up for what is right.  The Divine Mother does not ridicule.  But she will attend to your wounds caused by it.

As 2011 comes closer to its conclusion, this energetic cycle calls us to express compassion for others.  It also demands a balancing of justice.  Let not accusations fall that are undeserved.  Do not equate apples to snakes when oranges suffice.  Do not allow poisonous people or attitudes to fester in your life.  And when it comes to who you are, actively be that blessing to someone else.  Some way.  Some how.

Mother of Justice.  Mother of Mercy.  Mother of Love.

The traps?  Think of what is opposite of The Divine Mother? Of Lady Justice?  This Divine energy is not meant to foster apathy.  It does not neglect.  It does not stand by and allow another to be abused.  It nurtures positive emotions and salves the negative.  It does not take advantage and do emotional injury.  “Do No Harm.”  Others may fall to this level. See that you do not.  Stick to Gratitude and Encouragement this holiday.  And when challenges arise, because they will, soothe them.

October 2011 Heretical Numerology Watch

All of 2011 so far has been about responsibility, work, structure and laying foundations.  It’s been a period of preparation and even tension.  Coming full swing into the energy of October, we move into a cycle that pushes to a stage of evaluation and asks us for release. We come to a point asking us to let go, to make choices and to allow things to be different from here on out.

I expect in many ways that the next 5 weeks will feel a bit more comfortable to most everyone.  The tension that has been in place should loosen in some areas, possibly break in others.  (Remember that slow energy build I’ve been talking about?) And as I mentioned before, I believe we’ll see the markets gain some predictability by the end of October.  Just remember, predictability is not the same as profitable.  I see this more as a lull period where things calm down a bit and allow people to catch their breaths, take a break and re-evaluate the important things in life and the next steps to take.  If the markets become a place where these potential tension breaks channel through, it might be a good time to look for deals. There’s energetic tension present, it will release or relax somewhere. Markets or not.

It’s important to note that sometimes during periods like this, we are presented with events that stimulate choice, release, re-evaluation and adaptability.  Sometimes it takes a smack on the head to help us realize we’re not moving and we are stagnant.  Sometimes it takes a flush to get things moving again.  The energy present during this time desires flow and movement much like water.  YOU choose where and how it should channel.  If you don’t, it will be chosen for you and you may not be as comfortable with it. 

It’s a good time to take a mini-vacation of some sort, if you can.  It’s a good time to make deposits in your bank of positive memories and experiences.   Remember that negative experiences borrow from our bank of positive experiences.  When the positive bank is drained, it’s like going into the red.  Make the efforts and choices necessary.  No matter how small, they all count. 

The energy at this time is very much about making choices and the nature of the fact that freedom is only attained via choice.  And without choice, no freedom or grace is possible.  Just as our guides cannot take away our free will and freedom to choose, likewise we cannot take away the choices of others either.  Only in a free society do we see the essences of the 9 Divine Archetypes as they were meant to exist.  Freedom and choice are inextricably linked.

Patterns I see at this time are interesting as I still see a window for events to take place on either or both the east and west coasts in the U.S.. Hurricane energy would fit these patterns, but even man-induced events are a possibility.  The energy is a slow build-up with a sustained punch.  I know we’re getting late into the hurricane season, but I see these as still being quite possible. 

Southern California, I’m not sure what’s going on with you, but you keeping popping up on my radar.  Folks who live there, please have a plan in place in case of emergency.  And listen to your hearts and guts.  This feels like a mix of natural events and man-induced amplification.  Not sure what that looks like yet?  I will be on the west coast soon where I hope I can tap in better and will try to update with a more clarified take later.  I don’t usually focus on areas I don’t live in.  Central Texas, I believe we’re in for a harder winter than usual for us.  Plan accordingly.

“Rise Creator and Stand.  For upon you worlds rely.”  This message is loud in my head this morning as I wrap up today’s newsletter.

Abraham – Hicks has told us that “the only true measure of success is the amount of Joy we are feeling.”  Florence Scovel Shinn taught us that Success is a system in which Courage is an important element.  The Bible tells us that there is no Fear in Love and that perfect Love abolishes fear. Thucydides wrote that the secret to happiness is freedom, which also requires courage.  The Upanishads spoke of the eternal connection between Joy and Creation.

All of these teachings point to a marriage of qualities that come into focus at this time.  Courage (confidence) and responsibility coupled and balanced with creation and joy.  It is reminiscent of the complete energy of Great Creator herself.  Joy, Creation, Courage, Responsibility, Freedom, Confidence, Passion, Choice, Love.  They are all intertwined and are the essence of God.

It takes courage to step up and create.  Whether you are creating a dream, a vision, re-creating yourself.  Fear is not a part of this.  Humanity was not created from Fear.   Nothing we consider Divine was created from Fear.

“I’m too old.” “I don’t have the money.” “The economy isn’t conducive.” “I don’t have time.”  “I’m a mom.”  “I’m alone.”  “I can’t because of _____.”  None of these statements are made from a place of courage, confidence or creation or joy.  And none come from a state of Truth or Freedom.  Sadly these chains are not imposed by anyone except by oneself.  When will we learn that we are Creators?  It does not matter what we are given.  We will create with rocks and sticks.  We will summon unto us those who have the missing pieces we need.  We will draw from the energy of the Universe and express.  We have everything we need in our very Souls.  We are not trapped, unless we choose to be.   We are Creators!

I touched on the subject of thinking about what our true Joy is back in May.  You can go back and take a look.  Our process over the summer so far has been in preparation for the window we are moving into.  If we desire to be Joyful, then we must have the courage to take the step, and embrace a state of confidence and knowing, and simply Create.  Step into your I Am of Creator.  Step into Freedom.  Step into Joy.  “Live Your Truth.”

Chiron, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are all retrograde at least through August.  Mercury goes retrograde in Virgo on August 3 and Jupiter goes retrograde in Taurus on August 30.  These are not reasons to hold back.  In fact, I think these retrogrades will help facilitate the process.  Know that it requires of you more focus, and your full soul’s attention and passion.  This is the window to step forward in the process, to create, to reap, to be bold and unwavering in our dreams and desires.  To be joyful. To exist in a state of creation vs. created.  To exist in a state of Creator.

“Create your speech to one another in Love.”  Remember that God spoke and It Was.  Let your speech be clear and unwavering.

Take the steps, even if it does seem messy at first. We have a window coming later that will allow us to clean up the details and put everything into a sense of order.  But jump in, create the steps, stand and be confident, be counted as responsible now.  Be the first one to dare to get messy, and without fear, without worry about failing or “messing up.”  Check your attitudes at the door.  And don’t use “responsibility” as an excuse for “can’t.”  That’s not how this works.  This energy says you have a responsibility to Create!  That you are not responsible if you do not!  The energy of responsibility here is very wholesome and holistic in that it does a balancing act and takes into consideration details as well as end results.  It considers the health of all the corners of life, satisfying our needs in all arenas: emotional, spiritual, physical, mental and all the other “als.”  Contemplate what it actually means to be “Creator.”

This time is about reaping benefits through joy and creativity.  Not just for you, but for everyone you are responsible for.  And today, you are responsible for your community, your world.  Whatever that means in your life.  Your circle.  You have a responsibility to your peers, the people you interact with anywhere.  A responsibility to seed the energy in your life to facilitate it in others as well.  You have the responsibility to stand in confidence, be true to that core of who you really are, even if it means you take on leadership for awhile to do it, so others are supported in their own confident standing as well.  Who are you?  Step into Creator.  You are your own infinite Universe.  If you are the first to step up to the dais, you will soon be joined.  Do you see the network of Light?

The Mind Cannot Process the Negative

If you think “__________” cannot happen for you, the mind is only focused on “________” not happening for you.

This presence of mind radiates into the physical. Everything you do physically will be anchored to that mental outcome and produce a “self fulfilling prophecy.”

On the other hand, if you think about how “_________” is going to happen for you, then your mind is now processing a different end result.

And as a result, your actions will be different.  Where the head goes, the body follows.

Manifesting starts and ends with presence of mind.

NOVEMBER 2010 HERETICAL NUMEROLOGY WATCH

Numerologically, November looks somewhat quiet in terms of dates of significance until the very end.  There’s a large arch of influence taking place Nov 15-22 with emphasis on the 15th.  Please be careful in traffic on Nov 15th, especially when you are tired.  Plan right now that on the 14th, you are going to bed early please.  I want to see you safe.  Nov. 30th is one of the most intense dates we’ve had in a while.  Over all, though, November seems quiet in terms of patterns.

However the underlying energetic theme of this time may feel a little unsettling.  This is because the energy demanded at this time is flexibility, evaluation and adaptability.  This vibration compounds the life lesson of The United States in general and compounds again the current cycle we are in.  So we will feel this more intensely that usual.  If you have personal numbers of 5 or 8, especially tied to your birth date, I’d expect you to experience this in a rather personal way.

Folks who will have the most trouble during this month are those who have the hardest time adapting and flowing.  If you always need everything to be planned and exact, this month will feel unsettling to you as you are pushed outside your comfort zone.  If you are pretty good at riding the waves, this will be less of a challenge.  It’s all about flow and flexibility and things outside of the box.

However, at the opposite extreme of flow and adaptability is impulsiveness.

November is the 11th month of our year.  With 11 expressing a spiritual vibration that must lead by example, I have always found it interesting that Thanksgiving, our national holiday dedicated to gratitude, appreciation and generosity, falls during the month of November. It is also interesting to note that in 2010 we have an arch of influence taking place the weekend before Thanksgiving with the theme of Unconditional Love.  Rather appropriate to the season, don’t you think?

So what does that mean though?  As I am oft to point out – this is the energy at work.  Unless you want the choices to be made for you, channel the direction of how you want this energy to manifest in your life.  Just like channeling a lightening rod so that it either does no harm, or powers your flux capacitor.  I know everyone tends to focus on Christmas as the time to volunteer and to give.  But this year around Thanksgiving is a really wonderful time for this energy to be not only expressed, but multiplied in its Divine state.  Your pure hearted efforts (again with the theme of unconditional love) during this time cannot help but have a greater impact.  I really recommend everyone use this window to do some serious good.

But let’s remember something – what Unconditional Love is.  Because it is not simply a feeling.  It is self-sacrifice.  It is without condition.  It is without judgment.  It is without selfishness.  It is love even when it hurts.  Even when it means giving up your own needs.  Not wants.  Give up your own needs.

What is it you really need most right now?  Is it money?  Is it time?  Is it knowledge?  Is it healing?  Is it to be heard? To feel joy? To be accepted?

I challenge you to make a small sacrifice and offering of whatever it is you need most right now and unconditionally give it to another.

If you are in need of money, now is the time to make an offering of money to someone or some thing.  It does not have to be reckless, but it needs to be a small sacrifice of one of your actual needs.  Whether that means you donate, you give a gift, you pay back a favor, or you pay someone else for a service that will help them feed their family too – do it.  Trust me, it will come back to you multi-fold.  It’s even helpful to use your words and state to the universe something like: “I am in need of money so I can pay my bills.  I know that my needs are (present tense) fulfilled.  In recognition of this fact, I am purchasing a haircut so someone else can also be blessed and in turn bless others.”  Or something to the effect.  It could be a donation, but keep real action involved.   Sacrifice involves awareness.  It could be showing recognition of a service that you’ve been receiving for free.  Like open source applications. People develop anti-virus and anti-spyware software for free all the time, and they always accept donations.  How many people who benefit from their services actually make a donation back?  Or even write a letter to say thank you?  If someone made a difference for you, do you let them know?  Or anyone else?

So do the same for time, if that’s your greatest need right now. The same for love. The same for friendship.

Do you need appreciation? Express appreciation for someone else.  Do you need more happy memories? Create one for someone else.  We have a whole community of energy workers.  Do you know the creative power you have in sculpting a memory that will feed a soul for a lifetime?  Have you tried?  You’ve read those inspirational stories.  Have you helped create one for someone else?  More than once?  Do you know that what you put your hand to and create can take on a life of its own and continue to spread?  Did you know that when you open yourself to that process in Light, you become a channel for the Universe, like a perfect song for whomever you touch?

Impulse is present in the energies at play during this time.  This will somewhat continue into December as Mercury goes retrograde Dec 10 and complicates the holiday season a bit.

How will you express that impulsiveness?  Because it does not have to be a negative thing at all.  It could be inspired.

Will you channel that impulse for inspiration, innovation and good?  Or will you use it to take someone’s head off?
